MEETINGS

Most meetings of our student society are held in the faculty building in the evenings, so that they don't coincide with classes. The meetings are held in English. We usually discuss British poetry and drama as well as issues connected with folklore and literary theory. The topics to be discussed are up to the members of the society, so if there's a text that's not on your syllabus that you'd really like to discuss, join us and we'll see what we can do. Most meetings are organized by the society's academic supervisor, dr Piotr Spyra, but we occasionally invite other teachers from the Institute of English Studies to discuss topics they specialize in.
